Comprehensive Cancer Center & Proton Therapy
The cyclotron's delivery slot was fixed a year out by its manufacturer. Everything else had to bend to that day.
LocationPhoenix, AZA late hospital opening is measured in patients, not penalties: a family driving further for care, a surgeon without a room, a community told to wait. Boards need a date they can announce and defend, and we build the schedule that earns it.
A health system was bringing proton therapy to its region for the first time. The treatment vault walls are meters thick, and the manufacturer set the cyclotron's delivery slot more than twelve months in advance.
Mass concrete pours, shielding inspections, rigging routes and crane access all had to converge on a single day. Missing it meant rejoining the manufacturer's queue, a delay measured in months and a cost no contingency had been sized for.
The whole program, on one line.
Start to finish, as the schedule tells it. For work still in progress, the bar moves with today's data date.
Our approach, phase by phase.
The same disciplined sequence we bring to every engagement, shaped around what this project needed most.

The difference we made
Measured the only way that matters: whether the date and the budget held.
The vault was poured, inspected and clear for rigging on the morning the cyclotron arrived.
The equipment vendor's installation sequence was built into the master schedule activity by activity, with float to the delivery date reported every week.
Commissioning and clinical validation finished in time for the planned first patient treatment.
What we brought to it
Integrated Master Schedules that bind design, procurement, construction and commissioning into one traceable program view, from board summary to field activity.
2.01.07Critical Path AnalysisRigorous analysis of critical and near-critical paths that shows leadership exactly where attention and money will move the date, and where they will not.
2.01.15Commissioning & Startup SchedulingSystem-based commissioning and startup schedules that carry facilities from mechanical completion to reliable operation without the familiar last-mile slip.
2.03.01Owner's RepresentativeSenior owner's representation that protects budget, schedule and quality from procurement through design, construction and occupancy.
