Scope statement

Understand delay the way a tribunal will.

Delay analysis is among the most consequential and least understood areas of project controls. Planners, contract managers and project leaders who understand it keep better records, give better notices and avoid the disputes others drift into, and when a dispute does come they know what their evidence needs to look like.

Taught by practitioners from our forensic practice, this course works through the methods described in AACE 29R-03 and the SCL Protocol, the treatment of concurrency and pacing, how to prepare and review a TIA, and the record-keeping and notice discipline that preserve entitlement. Exercises use realistic project scenarios and are tested the way an opposing expert would test them.
